Help Us Bring Pickleball to Metro Nashville Students This Summer!
The Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association (TJPA) is proud to partner with Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) for the 2025 Promising Scholars summer program. We are inviting passionate volunteers to join us in delivering engaging, school-based pickleball programming to students across the city.
Volunteers will help support site coaches, guide students through basic drills and games, and help us create a positive, encouraging environment.
Program Details:
Dates: Late May through June
Locations: Multiple MNPS schools
Times: Two hours- either in the mornings or afternoons, two days a week, as determined by the schools.
Your Role: Assist with on-site instruction, encourage participation, and help build momentum for afterschool programs in the fall
Desired Qualifications:
Passion for Pickleball: Deep enthusiasm for junior pickleball.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to plan and execute events smoothly.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with players, parents, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Community Focus: Dedication to promoting sportsmanship and fostering a vibrant junior pickleball community.
